Viewing Global Snapshot Clones via VAST Web UI
From the left navigation menu, select Data Protection and then Global Snapshot Clones.
The following information can be displayed for each global snapshot clone:
Tip
To display or hide fields, click
to the right of a column title, and then click
to open a dropdown where you can select or unselect fields. ID
The ID of the global snapshot clone.
Name
The name of the global snapshot clone.
Direction
The cloning direction:
SELF. Indicates that the source snapshot is on the same cluster as the clone.
SOURCE. Indicates that the local cluster is the source of the cloned snapshot and the target cluster is a remote peer.
DESTINATION. Indicates that the local cluster is the target cluster and the source cluster is a remote peer.
Target Cluster
The cluster on which the clone resides/will reside.
Target Tenant
The tenant on which the clone resides/will reside.
Target Path
The local path on the target tenant on which the clone resides/will reside.
Source Cluster
The cluster owning the cloned snapshot.
Source Path
The cloned path on the source cluster
Source Snapshot
The cloned snapshot of the source path.
Status
The status of the stream creating the clone.
Sync Progress
The progress of copying the snapshot data to the cloned directory, if background sync is enabled.
BW (Mb/s)
The bandwidth of the replication connection between peers, if applicable.
ETA
The estimated time for completing the creation of the global snapshot clone.
Viewing Global Snapshot Clones via VAST CLI
To view all global snapshot clones, run the globalsnapshotclone list command. To view details of a specific global snapshot clone, run the globalsnapshotclone show command.
