VAST SyncEngine 3.2.2 was released in July, 2026. The release includes:
New Features
Skip Existing Objects
By default, if the destination VAST S3 bucket contains an object with the same key as the object being migrated, SyncEngine overwrites the existing object with the new data from the source S3 store.
Starting with version 3.2.2, you can configure SyncEngine to skip objects that already exist in the destination bucket so that they do not get overwritten from the source. To do so:
In SyncEngine UI, select the Skip object keys that already exist at destination option in migration settings.
In SyncEngine CLI, include the
--ignore-existing option on the migration create command.
