New Features and Capabilities
VAST CSI Operator for OpenShift
VAST CSI Operator is an OpenShift operator that helps deploy, configure and upgrade VAST CSI Driver in Red Hat OpenShift environments. It provides a user-friendly way to supply all parameters necessary to provision storage on a VAST cluster. Follow these guidelines to deploy VAST CSI Driver using VAST CSI Operator.
Provisioning Static Volumes with VAST CSI Driver
In addition to dynamically creating VAST views for each PVC, VAST CSI Driver can expose existing data as statically provisioned persistent volumes.
You can control whether VAST CSI Driver automatically creates a view and/or a quota for static volumes by leveraging the static_pv_create_views and static_pv_create_quotas options that can be set for an individual PV. For more information, see Provisioning Static Volumes.
