VAST COSI Driver 2.5.0 is released to General Availability as of 2024. This is the initial release of the driver.

The current release of VAST COSI Driver is for preview only. It is not yet intended for production use.
In addition to VAST CSI Driver that allows for dynamic provisioning of CSI volumes, VAST provides a Kubernetes Container Object Storage Interface (COSI) driver for object storage provisioning.
VAST COSI Driver lets you use the Kubernetes API to create and manage S3 buckets, and also to manage access to the buckets. After a bucket is provisioned, end users can perform object operations on the bucket.
VAST COSI Driver is installed through a separate Helm chart named vastcosi, which is available in the same VAST Helm repository as VAST CSI Driver.
VAST COSI Driver 2.4.0 can be used with Kubernetes 1.25 - 1.28.1 and VAST Cluster 4.1 or later.
