Install and Upgrade

ORION-248374: Made updates to prevent a flow that could result in a No IP/Port are cached error during an upgrade.
ORION-241766: Resolved an issue that could cause a NameError("name 'IPMI_PASS_MLK' is not defined") error when trying to add a Mavericks MLK DBox to the cluster.
ORION-237992: The options to import or export a VAST Cluster Install configuration are now available for admin users. Prior to this change, the functionality could be used by root and support users only.

ORION-278062: Resolved an issue that could cause a reset of Priority Flow Control (PFC) configuration on CNodes shortly after the configuration was applied.
ORION-270059: Expanded network validation checks run by the VMS to include validation of cabling for Cumulus switches.

ORION-281329: Resolved an issue where very high CPU utilization rates and significant latency were encountered when processing NFS READDIR requests, causing mounts to hang.

ORION-288436: Made updates to prevent a flow where user quota accounting could show duplicate UIDs and usernames with different quota rules.
ORION-284569: Updated handling of internal quota IDs to eliminate some flows where quotas could not be displayed or managed (for example, deleted) because the VMS was internally using an incorrect quota ID.
ORION-266559: Improved quota query pagination to prevent potential inconsistencies when presenting user quota information.

ORION-281100: Updated QoS-related metrics to avoid a case where a non-zero QoS wait time could be reported for a user while there were no QoS policies in effect for that user.

ORION-279194: Updated handling of group names for well-known SIDs to resolve an issue where a blank value was shown instead of a well-known SID group name in the list of ACL grantees (Element Store -> Views -> choose to create or edit a view -> SMB tab -> Share-level ACL).
ORION-235056: Introduced a number of SMB processing optimizations to improve performance when handling requests by non-Windows clients to list directories that contain a very large number of files.

ORION-286028: Enhanced internal cleanup routines used in asynchronous replication to avoid unexpected TOO_MANY_CLONES errors.
ORION-281301: Made updates to ensure that S3 access keys are replicated as appropriate in environments where the source peer is running VAST Cluster version earlier than 5.3 and the destination peer is running version 5.3 or later.

ORION-285162: Updated handling of concurrent SMB handling tasks to resolve an issue where errors were seen when using VAST NFS exports for Veeam backups.
ORION-283734: Resolved an issue where attempts to create a block volume or host could not succeed due to an [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain error.

ORION-290976: Updated attribute mapping fields in Active Directory or LDAP provider configurations so that they are available for editing when you create a provider in VAST Web UI.
ORION-287474: Updated the logic behind the Capacity field in the Quota Rules tab in quota settings (Element Store -> Quotas -> choose to create or edit a quota) to prevent unexpected altering of user-supplied values.
ORION-281960: Updated the logic behind the Activate Write Buffer RAID button (Settings -> Cluster -> General Cluster Setup and Actions -> Write Buffer RAID pane) so that it is grayed when the feature is activated on the cluster.

ORION-281963: Resolved an issue that could cause CNode containers to restart after encountering a tried to update a non-existent export error during an attempt to reactivate the CNodes in a complex scenario that involved an unresponsive DNode and leading CNode HA.
ORION-281635: Resolved an issue that occured in a very large cluster with Write Buffer RAID enabled, where SCM failures led to many ESTORE MIGRATE denylist alerts.
ORION-280379: Resolved an issue where an attempt to remove a virtual IP pool caused the CNode container to restart with an (_anchor->is_empty()) Destroying a non-empty dlist error.
ORION-274690: Resolved an issue where a CNode container restarted due to leader hogging for 702049 us and Found multiple LDAP entries for @uid=<...> errors.
ORION-234210: Resolved an issue that could cause a false isolcpu is misconfigured alert during activation of a newly added CNode.
