Install and Upgrade

  • ORION-237991: Added a validation to ensure that there are no conflicting entries in configuration files used to start the docker service during the cluster installation process.

  • ORION-261797: Resolved an issue where an NDU could not proceed because of the Failed to perform HpeIceLake discovery error that occurred when trying to activate a DNode.

  • ORION-277358: Resolved an issue where during a VAST OS and firmware upgrade, a DNode could not be activated due to an internal timeout.

  • ORION-261510: Enhanced node batch management for an EBox upgrade that involves reconfiguring CPU isolation (isolcpus) settings to eliminate a flow that could result in incorrect CPU isolation values being applied.

Cluster Expansion

  • ORION-253462: Resolved an issue where during cluster expansion by running the dbox add command of VAST CLI, a DBox with a failed SSD was allowed to be added in INIT state without any indication of the fault present.

Call Home and Support

  • ORION-294241: Resolved an issue where a callhome bundle could not be sent due to a cannot add Detector "CRED"---it already exists error.
