Install & Upgrade

  • ORION-236788: Updated handling of IPMI addresses in VAST Easy Install to prevent an assert ipmi configuration failed 1 times: [Exception('Overlapping IPMI IPs were found in DTray-dbox<...>, DTray-dbox-<...>')] error that could occur when trying to deploy a cluster with more than one CERES DBox where B2B IPMI is not in use.

Networking

  • ORION-234974: Updated the cluster networking configuration script (configure_network.py) to avoid setting an incorrect IP address for the technician port on Mavericks 1.0, Cascade and Broadwell clusters with B2B configurations.

NFS

  • ORION-192830: Made updates to allow setting NFS locks on snapshots. This resolves an issue where an attempt to restore a database (RESTORE DATABASE) from a snapshot mounted via NFSv4 failed due to an Access is denied error, while the same user was able to list the contents of the snapshot.

  • ORION-235601: Eliminated a permission translation issue that could occur when a file inherited its ACL from the parent directory on views with the NFS security flavor and POSIX ACLs enabled.

Platform & Control

  • ORION-230474: Resolved an issue that could cause a CNode container to restart with the [Invalid permissions for mapped object]) - <...> HINT: is your stack big enough? error.
