Grace period is a user-defined period of time during which clients are allowed to exceed the soft limit defined in an applicable quota before an alarm is raised and write operations to the path are blocked.
You can reset the quota grace period as follows:
In VAST Web UI, right-click the quota in the Quotas page (Element Store -> Quotas), and select Reset Grace Period.
In VAST CLI, run the
quota reset-grace-periodcommand.
