Pausing and Resuming a Protected Path Restore using the VAST Web UI

  1. From the left navigation menu, select Data Protection and then Global Snapshot Clones.

  2. Identify the global snapshot clone created for the path restore, named <protected path name>-<restore>. Right-click the global snapshot clone and select Pause Sync or Resume Sync.

  3. In the confirmation box, click Pause Sync or Resume Sync again.

    The restore is paused/resumed.

To pause a restore using the VAST CLI, run the protectedpath pause command.

To resume a restore using the VAST CLI, run the protectedpath resume command.
