Monitoring Liquid Cooled Boxes

Prev Next

VAST Clusters can include components that are liquid cooled. If your cluster has such components, you can monitor the status of the cooling system in the Infrastructure page of the VAST Web UI, or using the VCLI.

The status indicates the state of the cooling pump, its speed, and the date for next maintenance.

If the status of an active cooling system deteriorates, or a maintenance window for the system is approaching (or about to end), an alert message is shown (in the top right corner).

Monitoring Liquid Cooled Boxes in a Cluster using the VAST Web UI

  1. In the VAST Web UI, navigate to the Infrastructure page, and select the Liquid Cooling tab. This shows a list of boxes in the cluster that are liquid cooled, and the status of the cooling system for each.

Monitoring Liquid Cooled Boxes in a Cluster using the VCLI

Use the liquidcooling command in the VCLI to list boxes that are liquid cooled, and show their status.
