--id ID

Identifies the manager with the manager ID.

--username NAME

Identifies the manager with the manager's username ID.

--password PASSWORD

The manager password.

--prompt-password

If specified, the manager is prompted for the password.

--first-name NAME

The manager's first name.

--last-name NAME

The manager's last name.

--enable-is-temporary-password

This option is introduced in VAST Cluster 5.1.2.

Sets the password as temporary, which means that VMS allows the manager to log in with the temporary password within seven days. The only action available to the user after logging in with a temporary password is to change the password.

--disable-is-temporary-password

Disables temporary password setting.

--enable-password-expiration

Notice

This option is introduced in VAST Cluster 5.1.2.

Enables the password to expire according to the password expiration period set by vms modify.

--disable-password-expiration

Prevents the manager's password from expiring.
