The VAST Web UI dashboard offers you a quick and easy way to monitor your VAST Cluster.
The dashboard appears when you log in to the VAST Web UI. To return to it at any time, click the VAST Data logo at the top of the page or select Dashboard from the left navigation menu.
The dashboard features several cards.
You can choose whether to show information in these cards in MB/sec or GB/sec, using the selector in the upper left corner of the page. This allows you to scale the display according to the anticipated amount of data.
Capacity
Two capacity cards show storage usage on the tenant:
The left card, Tenant Total Capacity, shows the overall storage usage on the tenant, as a percentage of overall capacity.
The card also shows these parameters:
Used - the percentage of the total storage capacity for the tenant that is used, and the actual amount
Snapshots - the percentage of the total storage capacity for the tenant that is used for snapshots, and the actual amount
The right card, Tenant Total Views Capacity, shows over storage usage by views on the tenant. It lists the top views, in terms of size.
Top Views
This card shows the top 5 views in the tenant. You can select whether they are ranked by overall bandwidth used, latency, IOPS, metadata IOPS, or rows accessed (for databases).
Top Users
This card shows the top users in the tenant. You can select whether they are ranked by overall bandwidth used, latency, IOPS, metadata IOPS, or rows accessed (for databases).
BW IOPS
This card shows the overall network activity on the tenant over time, including read and/or write bandwidth and IOPS.
