Connecting Clusters

  1. In the VAST Web UI, open the Multi-Cluster Management page (select Multi-Cluster from the left navigation menu.)

  2. From the Add New dropdown, select Connect My Clusters.

  3. Complete the fields for one of the clusters that you want to connect:

    VMS IP

    Enter the IP of the cluster's VMS.  

    Username

    Enter a valid VMS username for the cluster.

    Password

    Enter the password for the specified user.

  4. If you want to add another cluster, click Add Another and then enter the details for another cluster.

  5. Optionally repeat the previous step for additional clusters.

  6. When you are done, click Create.

    Each cluster that you added now has a card that appears in the Cluster Cards tab.
