Label a DBox

Label a DBox from the VAST Web UI

This feature is used to label DBoxes in large clusters. The description is displayed in the Description column the Infrastructure > DBoxes view.

  1. Connect to the VAST Web UI. From the menu, (click menu_button.png ), select Infrastructure > DBoxes.

  2. Select 3dots_menu.png at the right side of the Dbox to edit, and then select Edit.

  3. Enter the description for the DBox and select the Edit button.

Label a CBox

Label a CBox from the VAST Web UI

Use the Edit menu option from the action menu to create a new description for a CBox or to edit the current description. This feature is used to label CBoxes in large clusters. The description is displayed in the Infrastructure > CBoxes view.

  1. Connect to the VAST Web UI. From the menu, (click menu_button.png ), select Infrastructure > CBoxes.

  2. Select 3dots_menu.png at the right side of the Cbox to edit, and then select Edit.

  3. Enter the new description for the CBox and select the Edit button.
