The VAST Web UI enables you to change the descriptions of CBoxes, DBoxes and EBoxes, and to rename CNodes and DNodes.
Renaming a CNode or DNode
Open the Infrastructure page and select the CNodes or DNodes tab.
Right-click the CNode or DNode and select Rename.
Edit the name and click Rename.
Editing Box Descriptions
This feature is used to label EBoxes or CBoxes and DBoxes, in large clusters. The description is displayed in the Description column of the Eboxes tab or the CBoxes and DBoxes tabs in the Infrastructure page.
Open the Infrastructure page and select the CBoxes, DBoxes or EBoxes tab.
Right-click the box and select Edit.
Edit the description and click Edit.
