Add a new EBox.

Usage

ebox add --enode-ip IP
        [--cluster-id CLUSTER_ID]
        [--rack-name NAME]
        [--rack-unit UNIT]
        [--skip-everything]

Required Parameters

--enode-ip IP

Specifies the bond IP of the ENode. This IP is used to connect to the EBox to configure it.

Options

--cluster-id CLUSTER_ID

Specifies the cluster ID.

--rack-name NAME

Specifies the rack name.

--rack-unit UNIT

Specifies the rack unit.

--skip-everything

Skips hardware discovery and OS upgrade.

NOTE: This option is available in VAST Cluster 5.4.4 and later.

Example

Add an EBox using the specified ENode IP.

vcli: admin> ebox add --enode-ip 12.1.1.11 --cluster-id 2
