Accessing Uplink
Browse to your Uplink portal, at <subdomain>.cloud.vastdata.com.
The login page appears.
Log in with your Uplink user and password.
Note
The user account is locked after five consecutive unsuccessful login attempts. After each unsuccessful attempt, a warning appears in the login screen showing the number of attempts remaining. If your account is locked, contact VAST Data Support.
If you are prompted to enter your time-based one-time password (TOTP):
Download and install an authenticator application such as Google authenticator on your phone or desktop.
Open the email sent by VAST Data to your registered email address, and scan the QR code from your authenticator application. The authenticator application then generates a TOTP.
Enter the TOTP generated by your authenticator app in the prompt to login.
If you are logging in from a trusted device, you can save your device as a trusted device by selecting Save this as a trusted device. You will not be prompted for a TOTP when logging in from the trusted device for the following 30 days.
Note
If you lose access to your authenticator application, you can request a new QR code from VAST Data Support. An email containing a QR code is then sent to you.
For first-time login, read and confirm your acceptance of the EULA. The Uplink portal appears, with the Multi-Cluster Dashboard open.
