What’s changing?

We’ve upgraded VAST University to a new learning platform to improve performance, reliability, and the overall learning experience.

As part of this update, many customer accounts were pre-created using the email addresses we already had on file. We’ve done this to make it easier for you to get started.

Here are key pieces of information to help you login and get on track with your learning journey!

  • Most customers already have an account

  • Use Manage Password to get started

  • Your username is usually your email

  • Register only if the password setup doesn’t work

Do I already have an account?

Probably, yes.

If you’re a VAST customer and have previously registered for training, your email address is likely already in our system.

What if I don’t remember my username?

Your username is usually your work email address. For example, if you had used our Customer Learning Portal, it would be that email address.

If you’re unsure:

  • Enter your work email when selecting Manage Password

  • If an account exists, you’ll receive setup instructions by email

The system should send a message to your email address promptly - but if you don’t:

  • Double-check your email spelling

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Contact our support team for help at university@vastdata.com

Note:  For security reasons, we can’t confirm account details on screen.

I’ve never logged in before. What should I do?

Start by resetting your password.

  1. Go to: https://university.vastdata.com/login

  2. Select Manage Password

  3. Enter your work email address

  4. Follow the instructions sent to your email

This works for both first-time access and password resets.

When should I register for a new account?

Only register if:

  • You’ve tried Manage Password, and

  • You did not receive an email, and

  • You believe you are not yet in our system

If you’re a customer and unsure, try Manage Password first.

I already have a password. How do I sign in?

If you already set a password:

  1. Enter your email and password on the login page

  2. Select Sign in

I’m a VAST employee. Is this the right login?

No — employees should use the VAST Employee Login option at the bottom of the page.

I’m stuck. What should I do?

If you’re still having trouble:

  • Double-check your email spelling

  • Check your spam or junk folder

  • Contact our support team for help at university@vastdata.com
