# VAST SyncEngine 3.3.0 Release Notes

VAST SyncEngine 3.3.0 has been released in July, 2026. The release includes:

## New Features

### ​Confluence Connector

​The Confluence connector extracts pages, blog posts, comments, attachments, and other Confluence space content from Confluence Cloud into a VAST S3 bucket. SyncEngine uses the Confluence REST API with an Atlassian API token to access the content, converts text to Markdown, and transforms Confluence permissions into S3 ACLs.

### ​Google Drive Connector

The Google Drive connector extracts files from a Google Drive folder into a VAST S3 bucket. The folder to be migrated can be your own folder, or it can be a different user's folder shared with you.

SyncEngine authenticates with a Google Cloud service account, reads content shared with that account, and copies the files to a S3 bucket on the VAST cluster, with Google Drive permissions converted into S3 ACLs.

### Object Include List for S3-to-VAST S3 Migrations

When configuring a migration from an S3 store to a VAST S3 bucket, you can supply a list of specific object keys to be migrated. If an include list is uploaded, SyncEngine does not scan the source bucket for objects subject to migration; it only copies the objects specified in the list.
