# VAST SyncEngine 3.2.0 Release Notes

VAST SyncEngine 3.2.0 was released on May 10, 2026. The release includes:

- GCS Connector — Native Google Cloud Storage (GCS->S3), server-side copy, exclusion files, bucket prefix delete
- ​NFS Connector — Native NFSv3 protocol (replaces POSIX emulation), index-based scanning with deduplication, deletion detection, all file types
- ​POSIX Connector — Exclusion files, all file types, root permissions for migrations
- ​Kubernetes Deployment — Full Kubernetes install workflow, NDU support, database migrations via Atlas Operator, Helm + Zarf air-gapped bundles, worker autoscaling
- ​S3 / Storage:
  - ​Event-driven incremental synchronization via AWS SQS
  - ​Faster transfers via AWS CRT
  - ​Honor destination checksum algorithm
  - ​Uppercase bucket names for IBM COS / S3-compatible
